The 5mm tempered glass and 8mm insulating hollow glass construction provides effective acoustic insulation, reducing the transmission of scanner noise from the MRI suite to the control room. This acoustic insulation improves the working environment for MRI technologists and reduces operator fatigue during long scanning sessions.
The window achieves 100–110 dB RF attenuation across 10 MHz to 130 MHz, compatible with all clinical MRI systems. The 98.5% transparency ensures clear patient observation, with the black-painted brass mesh reducing visual glare. The double-layer hollow glass design creates an effective sound barrier that complements the RF shielding function.
