Jovvi titanium tool sets are engineered specifically for MRI engineering environments where ferromagnetic tools are strictly prohibited. Each tool is manufactured from ≥90% titanium alloy (Grade 5, Ti-6Al-4V), with the remaining non-ferromagnetic components made from brass, beryllium copper, or bronze.
The production process begins with certified Ti-6Al-4V bar stock. Each batch includes a Mill Test Report confirming titanium content ≥90%, iron <0.25%, and no ferromagnetic inclusions. Incoming material is verified by XRF spectrometer before machining.
- CNC machining – Wrenches, screwdrivers, and hex keys are precision-machined from titanium bar or drawn wire.
- Heat treatment – Age hardening (480°C for 4 hours) achieves final hardness of 38–42 HRC.
- Surface finishing – Bead blasting creates a matte finish; passivation restores the corrosion-resistant oxide layer.
- Laser marking – Each tool receives permanent marking including “Ti ≥90%", size, and serial number.
- 100% testing – Every tool passes SQUID magnetometer testing (ASTM F3042) to verify magnetic susceptibility <5 * 10⁻⁶.
Jovvi operates under ISO 13485:2016. Each tool set includes a Certificate of Conformance with batch traceability.
